Eric C. Anderson, DPM AACFAS

Dr. Anderson is a central Ohio native, born and raised in Pickerington. He attended Ohio University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree. He then chose to pursue a degree in Medicine, and in 2002, earned his medical degree from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland.

Dr. Anderson was accepted to a three-year surgical residency in Toledo at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center where his focus was diabetic foot care with special interests in limb salvage, reconstruction of the foot and ankle, and wound care. After his three years in Toledo, he went on to complete a one-year advanced surgical reconstructive fellowship in Columbus, OH where he focused on advanced foot and ankle reconstruction, sports medicine, and total ankle replacements.

Dr. Anderson’s extensive training includes all aspects of foot and ankle surgery with a focus in Sports Medicine. He is board qualified in forefoot and rearfoot reconstruction by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and he is a current member of the American and Ohio Podiatric Medical Associations. Dr. Anderson is also an Associate of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, as well as the American Professional Wound Care Association.

Dr. Anderson currently resides in Columbus, Ohio along with his three daughters, Calli,, Kaitlyn and Hayden. He is an avid golfer and enjoys photography as well as spending time with family and friends. Dr. Anderson sees patients on Mondays at the  Mercy Memorial Wound Care Center, Tuesdays/Thursdays in his Bellefontaine office, and on Wednesdays at the Critical Limb Care at OhioHealth Riverside Methodist Hospital.

Richard F. Jennings, DPM FACFAS

Dr. Jennings is an Ohio native who earned his undergraduate degree from Bethany College, West Virginia, in 1995. He earned his Podiatric Medical degree from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in 1999. Dr. Jennings completed a 3-year surgical podiatric residency at The Ohio State University Medical Center. He is well trained in all aspects of ankle and foot surgery. He is board certified in Forefoot Surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. He is a professional member of the American Podiatric Medical AssociationOhio Podiatric Medical Association, and the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. Dr. Jennings enjoys all aspects of podiatry with emphasis on forefoot/rearfoot, ankle reconstruction, sports medicine as well as wound care and limb salvage. He has privileges at several local area hospitals, including Mary Rutan Hospital, Mercy Memorial Hospital, Springfield Regional Medical Center, Madison Health, and the Ohio Valley Surgical Center.

Dr. Jennings is an exercise enthusiast. In his spare time, he enjoys biking, golfing, traveling, and spending time with his family. Dr. Jennings sees patients in Bellefontaine on Monday and Wednesdays and in Springfield on Tuesday and Thursdays.

Melitta D. Simmons, DPM

Dr. Simmons has been with CFAS since 2015.  She has attended Pennsylvania State University and graduated with a degree in Biology in 1996 and Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine at Kent State University.  Subsequently she completed a 3 year Surgical residency at The Ohio State University.  

She has special interest in Primary podiatric medicine, including but not limited to sports medicine, wound care, pediatric and geriatric management. 

She is an advocate of preventative medicine and believes that patient education should be a priority.  Dr Simmons has a conservative practice philosophy which entails treating foot and ankle conditions nonsurgical whenever possible.
